We are a cafe and coffee roasting company in Fort Madison, IA. Our focus is not only on quality coffee, but also quality relationships with the people who we come in contact with. We want to make your day better, with something as small as a cup of coffee.

The Cafe.
We opened up the doors to our cafe in downtown Fort Madison, IA at the end of February 2021. Our goal is to create an inviting space for the entire community to come and live life together over some delicious drinks and food.
Swed & Co. first started as a small roasting operation in the back of the Fox Theatre two blocks down from the cafe in 2017; soon after a mobile espresso cart was added to the mix. Through different pop ups around town and events in the area, we started to make a name for ourselves in the community.
Stop in the Cafe M-F 7:30 - 3:00 and Sat 8:00 - 3:00.

Collaboration.
From the very beginning we have wanted to try to find ways to promote other people and the things that they create. One way we’ve done that is through collaborating with all sorts of different artists for the release of each coffee. On the back of each bag we show off a piece of what they do, from photographers to painters, we want to promote others and their art.
